Plitvica River House truly is a gem nestled in the serene surroundings of Plitvice Lakes National Park. The warmth and hospitality of Lucy and Ante made our stay unforgettable. With a secret park entrance just steps away, the location couldn't be better for beating the crowds. The rooms are beautifully appointed, air-conditioned, and each comes with a flat-screen TV. The private bathroom was modern, featuring a walk-in shower and complimentary toiletries. Every detail was just perfect.During our stay, we enjoyed a delectable dinner in the peaceful garden prepared by Ante. The home-cooked meal was truly a labor of love, showcasing local ingredients and flavors. Breakfast in the garden was a delight, with a fantastic selection of dishes prepared fresh, including omelettes made by Ante himself. The on-site bar was a cozy spot to unwind after a day of exploring.Lucy and Ante's attention to detail and passion for their craft shone through in every aspect of our stay. Their expertise in hospitality, honed from years in the cruise industry, was evident in the personalized care they provided to each guest. The location near Entrance 3 of the national park was ideal, allowing us to start our adventures easily. It's a place where you're not just a guest but a cherished visitor in their home. We left with memories that will linger for years to come and a desire to return with friends to share in this incredible experience. A true hidden gem in the heart of Plitvice Lakes National Park.
